Hüseyin Acar is a Ph.D. candidate in the Aerospace Engineering department at the University of Michigan, where he is also a graduate student research assistant at the IDEAS LAB. His focus is on sustainable aviation and finding innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of air travel. With a background in both mechanical engineering and computer engineering, Hüseyin has a well-rounded perspective on aerospace engineering. Prior to attending the University of Michigan, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Middle East Technical University, and worked as a CFD engineer for a year, gaining experience in various CFD analyses and thermal design projects. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
