Jayda Shine is an undergraduate 3rd-year dual-degree physics aerospace engineering student at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Jayda is working in the IDEAS Lab over the 2023 summer through the AUCC SURE (Atlanta University Center Consortium Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering) program. Through this program, she will research tools to provide sustainable aviation in the current aircraft industry. Her research interest lies in electric aircraft and sustainable aviation fuel, including but not limited to rockets. She enjoys exercising, dancing, and watching movies in her free time.
