Yi-Chih “Arenas” Wang is a PhD student in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan. Prior to attending the University of Michigan, he earned his first Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering in Taiwan and also worked as an R&D hardware engineer at TSMC for a year on developing state-of-the-art 3nm process. Furthermore, his previous experience as a research assistant was about building unmanned hybrid electric system vehicles. Now, his focus is on introducing a fuel cell system into the E-PASS system to reinforce the design/analysis of new sustainable aircraft. Outside of research, he enjoys playing tennis.
